Something Weird

Something weird going on with this website. I was writing a post earlier but when I tried to view the blog I received a message " error" and can't even open this website. I tried it twice but didn't work so I shut down my computer and start it again. It worked now but then when I start submitting my review to 3P I got another message that an error is prohibited the opp from being saved because the post url is taking too long to respond. Hmmm, I wonder what's going on. Well try submitting it again and see if it works this time.

Pregnancy at 18 weeks

I am at 18 weeks of my pregnancy today. I have been doing good so far except for the colds that I still have. Here's some information I got from babycenter.com on how the baby is growing at 18 weeks.

Head to rump, baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and weighs almost 7 ounces. Baby's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that I start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. Blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born. If it's a baby girl, her uterus and fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If it's a boy, his genitals are noticeable now, but he may hide them during an ultrasound.

I need more maternity clothes

As weeks pass by, my tummy is getting bigger and bigger also. I have gained 10 lbs during my first trimester and still gaining more and more. My jeans and pants have gotten tighter and I couldn’t wear them anymore. Even the pants that are too loose when I bought them now they became snug and tight on my belly. First time...

What a great experience I had this morning when my hand felt my baby's movement for the very first time. I was laying in bed trying to get a nap but couldn't sleep at all. So I just lay on my side and felt tiny movements in my belly which I have been feeling quite often since the start of my second trimester. I put my hand on my lower abdomen hoping that I could feel it with my hand and surely I did. It felt so good to feel my baby moving inside my tummy. I told hubby about it and he got excited. I know he is looking forward to feel our baby's movements too because every night he always touch my tummy but have never felt baby's movement yet.

Real Estate Agent

A real estate agent called yesterday and said she wanted to take a look at our house. This morning I have to leave the house from 10 am to 12 noon because that was the time they set to came by. I took a drive to some stores and looked for pants since most of my pants are tight and snug to wear with my tummy that is getting bigger and bigger. Pregnancy at 17 Weeks

I am at 17 weeks and 4 days of my pregnancy right now. So far things are going well except for some pains that I feel in my sciatic nerve on my left side and some other discomforts. I'm just glad that I didn't go through with bad morning sickness. I surely feel that my tummy is getting bigger and is now showing more and more and I feel the baby's tiny movement more often. My next OB-GYN appointment will be on Feb 9th. We will be able to know the gender of my baby during that doctor's visit. Hubby and I are getting more excited.

It's the 27th...

Today, the 27th of January is a very special day for me and hubby because it's our second wedding anniversary. It's been two years that we got married and things are doing good with our relationship together. Our love for each other have grown each day and we definitely enjoy each others company. To my dear beloved husband, Happy Anniversary to us. Thank you so much for all the love and care you've always shown to me and for making me special and treating me like a pricess all the time. I think, I felt my baby kicked

While I am sitting right before my laptop browsing the net and hopping blogs. I suddenly felt a quick movement on my left tummy which kinda surprised me. I think my baby just stretched her/his legs. Though I can't really tell if it's my baby kicking or just something else because this is my first pregnancy at second trimester. Tomorrow will be my 14 weeks, hubby just took another photo of my tummy earlier.

keeping warm and comfy

Wearing socks and long sleeves shirt all the time has been part of my outfit since I came here in the US. Even when I sleep I never take off my socks and I don’t think I would be able to sleep without my socks on. Now that it’s winter time tights and leggings are additional clothing I wear and I love wearing them because they keep me warm and comfy all the time. I think tights and leggings are also comfortable to wear during pregnancy instead of wearing jeans. I used to wear jeans most of the time but now since my tummy is getting bigger and bigger and my jeans are getting snug I prefer wearing those stretchable and soft type of cloth like those tights and leggings so I’m planning to buy more of those that I could wear during my entire pregnancy. Annual Eye Check Up

I just had my annual eye check up yesterday and it went well. My eye doctor said that my eyes are in good condition and that I don't need glasses. I told hubby before we went to my eye appointment that I really don't think I would need eye check up because I know my eyes are fine and my vision is good too but he said it is important to have it checked every year. I told him the only thing I don't like during eye exam is when the doctor starts dilating my eyes. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Good thing hubby mentioned to my eye doctor that I am pregnant and that the doctor said he won't dilate my eyes for safety purposes since I am pregnant so it made me feel better.

Time for sleep....

Sleeping at night has been uncomfortable for me since I got pregnant because I have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night and going back to sleep is really hard. Aside from this, I have to get used to sleeping on my left side which my doctor said is the best way. Another thing that bothers me is my sciatic nerve on my left side that is really hurting when I make certain movements while lying down in bed and since we are using a queen size bed it is more difficult to move or turn left and right because there isn’t much room enough for us and hubby. I told hubby one that we would need a bigger bed in our room especially that my tummy is getting bigger and bigger. If we would get a new bed it’s going to be a king size this time.

Pregnancy Update

I'm at 13 weeks and 5 days pregnant this week. So far, my pregnancy is going good. Thank God, I never have any bad morning sickness yet like vomiting or dizziness. Though I feel green and nauseous every now and then but it's not that bad. My last prenatal visit went well, my new OB GYN did ultrasound on me and it was very exciting because hubby and I were able to see our baby again and this time it was clearer and more visible. We even saw the baby moved it's legs and arms. During my doctor's visit I was at 11 weeks and 2 days but my OB said that in the ultrasound it showed that I was already 12 weeks and 3 days during that time. Well, I guess the ultrasound is more accurate. Anyways, everything is normal according to my doctor and I will have my next prenatal check up on January 19th. My OB said to bring a VHS tape in our next visit so he could record the baby's movement. Hubby and I are getting more excited.
